So, at least I got an extra fuse out of the deal. Dont try to take this shortcut, and get one that requires terminals be crimped onto the cable ends. The mechanism on this type, that clamps down on the wire, is unreliable and easily ruined. My friend screwed the clamp just a little too far, and the bolt slipped out of its channel. There is no straightforward way to get it back into its channel, either. The screws for the cover were also way too easily stripped. The unit was broken more by our attempts to fix it. Once I realized it would simply need to be replaced I yanked it off the cable end far too easily, and mind you, it couldnt be screwed drown any tighter because the mechanism critically fails if you screw it down any further. Chi yourself a favor, and get the kinds that requires terminals. The crimp terminals are for more secure, and then their attachment to the fuse holder is vastly superior. I needed the replacement right away, and the only one that would arrive next day, was a set of two, even though I only needed one. Those two were cheaper than this one and the one I installed has been working fine for months now. They came with fuses too, so now I have two spare fuses, including the one which came with this unit, and a spare holder as well. Lesson learned. Terminals > no terminals.

Nice fuse holder. Its great that it has screws that hold the cover on, alot of fuse holders snap on and vibrate loose.

its very sturdy feeling and heavy, much larger than it looked too, about 4 inches long, a good buy
