When my search began for a ANL 150A fuse holder many of the reviews I read discussed the fact that the covers did not have screws to hold them in place, WELL, I kept searching and I found this one that does have screws to hold on the cover and not only that the design and look of this product is excellent. An extra bonus it INCLUDED the fuse.

Most users give this a good review. It has a lot of good features. O-rings fits 0 or 4 gauge wire. Has o-rings which should make it dust-tight. The cover screws on, which also helps keep it dust-tight.

This thing is HUGE! Good luck mounting it anywhere under your hood. I fabricated a custom bracket to mount those by my battery. Other than that, it’s a quality piece at a solid price.

The plastic over time gets weaker and starts to brake cause of the dust, had to replace. It was great while it lasted. It’s also kinda bulky and hard to find a spot to place on.

I installed this sideways in my RV. It is a solid unit and am happy with it. My only concern is getting at the screws on the bottom if I have to replace the fuse but this is due to it being in a tight space with limited access and not the fuse holder.

I bought 2 of these fuses for my pair of 230aH lithium batteries which are rated for max continuous discharge/charge at 230A. My design will use about 15A continuous, but the fuses need to be able to handle much higher currents in the event of a short. These fuse holders are fairly beefy, however they require the correct sized cables to make a secure connection. They will need 1 or 2AWG for use with the adapter, or 1/0 AWG for use without the adapter. If you try and use other wire sizes the connections will not be suitable for higher current applications and you may overheat the fuse holder. Its just made of plastic. You may also need to remove some wire strands to fit the wire (better than a loose connection, but wastes wire) The description listing is a bit generous and not all those wire sizes will fit perfectly or work as well.
