Ive used a wide array of speaker wire and found this wire to be of great quality and replication of sound. The wire is very flexible (almost like a wet noodle) so its easy to lay or string. The casing material doesnt catch or drag when running through tight spaces.

Welp i used this cable in my 2015 honda civic ex-l for the speaker side of a jl audio slash 300/4 with runs to each door. I should have went with the 16 gauge lol this stuff is very thick, and heavy. You can always tell cca over ofc based off of weight alone. Thick insulation aswell great for car audio. Im not sure if its measured american standard but lets be real for this price and how thick this stuff is. Its more then capable of running some serious current.

Havent had a chance to connect and listen to InstallGear 12 Gauge Speaker Wire yet so I wont rate the sound quality.

Wire would become exposed when trying to seperate to make connections, it would just pull the insulation off of the wire, sending back.
