    Greater than one week

To another company so they are no longer providing the service and support that the Intel name brings with the product I paid for...sad really. Guess it leaves Seagate.

It is great for its price and ability to perform with stability, overall the speeds are normal for an nvme SSD, nvme uses the pcie interface so it is faster than a sata, if you want a reliable and budget gaming/editing ssd look no further.

I bought this to replace a smaller evo m.2 that housed my OS. I downloaded the Intel Data Migration Tool off of the Intel site and it was great. Fastest, easiest, cleanest transfer Ive ever done. Plus the software is free as long as you have an Intel drive. If youre worried about the performance of the drive compared to other ssds, dont. It is just as fast as my evo was and because of the extra space, my system is speeding along. I used my second M.2 slot on my MoBo and the whole transfer of my boot drive and files around 220GB barely took 2 minutes. The longest part of switching drives, was turning off my pc to install and uninstall ssds. After I used my pc all day for some work, I transferred all 92GB fallout 4 to it from a much slower sata drive in 2 minutes, watched the read and write speeds and the 660p wasnt breaking a sweat, just waiting for the poor sata SSD to read the files. So I played Fallout 4 for an hour just so I could give the for gaming 5 stars. I forsee no issues with the drive and I will give an update later on down the road as to longevity. I also recommend getting the Intel SSD toolbox to keep the drive trimmed and firmware updated, its another free program on the Intel site. TLDR; Get the drive its fast and big, use free Intel Data Migration Tool to upgrade to this huge M.2.

This is the second SSD drive I have used, the other I could not tell you the make or model (inside a work PC) but after having used a PC with this M.2 SSD, I find it hard and frustrating to use anything else (including the work PC that has an older version/style SSD). The drive is stupid fast! Install progress bars open then quickly snap shut (in a great way) because they complete so fast! I have NEVER seen boot times like I do now! I swear it takes me longer to enter my password than it does to come up to a ready working state! Buy more than just one!!

The Intel 660p offers 2 TB at one of the lowest prices for PCIe-based SSDs. Its usually fast, but it can be very slow at times. Thats because its QLC, which is the slowest type of SSD memory. Reads from QLC are fast, but writes are about as slow as an average hard disk. The 660p is usually faster because it has a dynamically sized SLC cache--it treats roughly half of the unused space on the drive as an SLC cache (i.e. disabling the other 3 bits in each cell). Most of the time, its about as fast as a typical SLC or MLC NVMe PCIe drive. If youre writing a large amount of data, or if your 660p is mostly full, it may feel like a hard disk drive.

After reading a lot of reviews and opinions and doing research about this vs samsungs line of m.2 ssds, I decided to go with this, and its been treating me perfectly for the past couple years. No regrets deciding to go with this over their competitors.

I purchased this little gem to replace the SSD in my Predator Helios 300. The 256 GB drive was just a little too small for my liking and I was constantly swapping games to and from the mechanical storage so Id have fast loading for whatever I was playing at the time. I needed more storage on my SSD. Enter the Crucial MX500. Good speed, good reliability, and at a reasonable price. I was ready to hit buy, then I saw the Intel 660p was on sale for the same price. A faster drive, with 12 GB more storage. I figured, why not... and have been happy since. I think this is a great product for a great price. If you can nab it on sale, go for it. Youll be happy with it.

No issues with this 1TB SSD so far. Decided to go with this SSD product over other vendors because of the longer warranty.

Not only is it fast, but the read/write speed is blistering fast!

I installed this as a secondary SSD to my MSI GS65 Stealth 9SE. Aside from the process of tearing down the GS65 (MSIs fault), this was a quick and easy install. The drive was easily recognized by the BIOS and Windows 10. CrystalMark Benched this at 1.7GB Read and 1.7GB write which is pretty good for the price. Sure its no Samsung Evo 970 Pro, but you have to factor in that the Intel drive costs 3X less. This drive is totally worth it!
