> 3 dayWell, this is a pretty bad time to be a pc gamer. On top of the chip shortages, scalpers, and crypto mining craze, you cant even find a decent cpu with integrated graphics that plays modern games for less than $400... until now.

Greater than one weekI think we reached the point that we need better GPU rather than CPU, I think this cpu will make a value for the money more than other CPUs.

> 3 dayDon’t forget to use both 8 pin power connectors to the Mb. Make sure your PSU has (2) 8 pin 12 volt power just for the CPU, 6 cores and above need it.

> 3 dayRuns WAY to hot. Even thought it comes with a less than good stock cooler, I assumed it would be good enough but temps jumped up in the 70s from just Windows updates and so on.

> 3 dayI paired with asus B560 strix a gaming wifi. you can enable xmp. but, when you sync all cores and set it to 44 the most you will get is 42. In fact mine runs as 4189 as the base clock is off and no way to bump it up which also affects the memory speed. I dont know if the 12400 is any better, but this will be the last locked cpu I will buy. Unless your board has a base clock feature, its second rate. Blew 400 bucks for nothing. Not enough frequency for what you pay. I would be happy with 4400mhz but I dont know if its the board, the cpu, or both. Dont buy this for any performance application.
