> 24 hourIt runs just above 4300MHz with the stock settings on my Gigabyte Aorus Elite MOBO. I dont do manual overclocking, so I cant speak to its true potential. A bit pricey compared to the newer AMD CPUs, but Intel works with all of my software.

> 24 hourI wanted the familiarity and security of an intel system, but I didn’t have $400 to blow on a processor like I did when I bought my i7-4770. This time, I wanted the ability to overclock and so far this CPU is exceeding my expectation. I have it running at its “boost clock” constantly on a very modest air cooler (Thermaltake gravity i2) and it’s running cool. No problems with thermal throttling whatsoever as long as I keep my room cool and case ventilated. This outperforms my 4770 to a surprising degree.

> 24 hourFirst and foremost, I believe all the hate Intel has received from hardware reviewers over the past year is well received. 9th Gen and 10th Gen Intel CPUs are clearly recycled 8th gen CPUs with very minor features added and critical features removed (ie hyperthreading) but it still remains a excellent CPU for gaming and overclocking, and at $200 I was more than curious to see just how overclockable this chip was...and I wasnt disappointed.
