> 3 dayI have used i7 chips for work and gaming at home for years and currently have a i7-8700K PC because i like to multitask but recently my son wanted his very own PC for gaming. I needed to build one that could match up to my PC at 50% of cost though. After much consideration between AMD and Intel we decided on the i5-9600K. Very nice specs for 40% less in price. He couldnt be happier. Also didnt feel the need to add an expensive water cooler to get great performance. We paired to CPU with a GTX1660ti card and get comparative specs to my 8700K with a 1080card. Very happy.

> 3 daySo ordered this along with a Corsair case and a motherboard the cpu I first got didn’t work and the board I had works with 9th gen cpus z390 and z370 with an bois update work with these cpus and don’t get me wrong the i5 9600k is a amazing value for gaming with 6 cores and 6 threads even good for video editing from what I’ve seen in bench marks online BUT I got a cpu that didn’t work and then I ordered a replacement and got a 6th gen cpu, I’ve been out of a pc for about a week just because of this the only thing I’ve gotten correct was a Corsair case, so buyer beware hopefully they send you the right one or even a working one

Greater than one weekIch habe den i3-9100, den i5-9400F und den i5-9600K gekauft. Der i5-9600k ist im normalen Modus kaum schneller als der i5-9400 erst wenn man OC einschaltet wird er gut 1/3 schneller. Dann ist er auch doppelt so schnell wie der i3. Zum Preis muss man dann aber auch noch einen guten Kühler dazurechnen und, dass er statt 65W dann auch 95W verbraucht. Na ja - ich würde meinen den i5-9400 reicht völlig aus.

> 3 dayGreat cpu got easy overclock speeds of 5.0 ghz with out the chip getting to hot (keep in mind I use a hyper 212 cooler) as anyone should who is buying this cpu due to it not coming with a fan. Buy this chip with no hesitation, you will be happy
