> 3 daySo far, this is working great. Just be aware that it does not come with a cpu cooler. Also, not all software supports its GPU or can make good use of all of the performance/efficiency cores. That is not a complaint about the chip. Just make sure that your software/use/need can utilize all that this chip can offer.

Greater than one weekIt is an Intel CPU, what more is there to say. Easy install. Working great in my new PC build.

> 3 daythe cpu seem fine ( no noticeable damage ) but for me that unboxing look very sketchy and low quality for a 600$CAD product

> 3 day7 years ago in March 2016 I built my first PC and decided to get the flagship I7-6700K at the time. Deemed to be future proof for 5+ years, which was in fact was true.

> 3 dayYou wont find any DDR5 you have to spend on DDR4. No upgrade path if you want future CPU. Beware of the TDP it might be too much for a basic cooler.

15-06-2025Im a first time builder, and Im working with this CPU, it overheat 3 times in bios when i first started out. Overheats on cinebench and some games that push it to about 40% CPU usage. There are work arounds but as a first time builder i would have preferred to not have to deal with that. Nevertheless, at least Ive experienced dealing with a chip that runs very hot.

Greater than one weekI upgraded from an i7-4770 DDR3 and built a 12700k DDR5 PC and this thing flies. A mild overclock and xmp profile has programs opening instantaneously, and installs are super fast. No real workloads or gaming has been done yet, but I wanted the best, but didnt want to pay 12900k prices, and for gaming the I7 preforms only 1-2% slower according to most reviewers, so I will not be missing that tiny bit of performance.

> 3 dayGotta sat, a way more reasonable unit than the I9, which is only 3% better according to benchmarks. Buy this for sure!
