Intel Core i7-12700K Desktop Processor 12 (8P+4E) Cores up to 5.0 GHz Unlocked  LGA1700 600 Series Chipset 125W

I built a gaming desktop PC with this cpu and a Zotac 3080 trinity GPU. I get higher frame rates with this cpu than the zotac 3080 while playing the new call of duty mw2. I get max:200fps with this cpu and max:165 fps with the gpu, while doing the benchmark test, COD has in game. Keep in mind, I am not the most tech savvy, when it comes to computers and over clocking.

I am not a power user… Games, some technical work and finances. This is the perfect cpu for most users.

Upgraded from an i5-7500. Have been considering whether should go for AMD or Intel for this upgrade and finally decided to give an Intel a try after reading the positive reviews of the Alder Lake.

Hovers around 30° even while playing games on high graphics all night even with my cheap cooling fan, no problem keeping up with many programs open I don’t think I’ve seen it past 12% use in task manager so far

Upgraded from an i5 7500 to the 12700k. Definitely worth it, pairing it with a GTX 1070ti and the extra cores definitely help in a lot of games.

Outstanding performance at a reasonable price.

Gotta sat, a way more reasonable unit than the I9, which is only 3% better according to benchmarks. Buy this for sure!

My last PC CPU was an intel 9700k and while gaming-wise the performance doesnt seem much higher. I obviously get a few more FPS, but it has not been so noticeable. I wouldnt be able to tell the difference on a blind test. However, this CPU is just amazing for every other task and overall I am happy with it.
