Cheap and fast.

The Intel i7 12700kf is a fantastic upgrade, depending on where you are in the Generation cycle. I came from an i7 8700k, so obviously, I saw TONS of approvement. Seems very easy to overclock as well; currently running it stock, and its blazing fast still.. I may try to overclock once I am not afraid to mess up a 400 dollar processor.

Dont be confused with people slamming these new chips over power efficiency. Under load yes they do draw more power than their AMD counterparts however at idle (which is what most peoples pcs are doing most of the time) they draw less than their AMD counterparts. Unless youre driving this thing full tilt all the time, it is very power efficient. Gaming performance is great and the few titles that are not working now (early adopter bugs, AMD has had more than their fair share over the years) trust me theyll be ironed out. Intel is finally back on the right track. Looking forward to future competition.

Plugged this into my Asus 690-A Prime motherboard and it booted right up without any issues. Fast, DDR5 support. Will try to overclock and get even more performance.

Was worried about hearing how got these run, but with a 280mm aio cooler master cooler Im never cracking 50c after hours of gaming. All the cores are within 3c of each other and have had no issues. Idle is about 6c over ambient room temps. Could not be happier with this upgrade from a 4 core i7 performance wise. Can now run my games on ultra settings at 144hz and it feels like new games!

Good processor, my computer is honestly overkill and this processor is a part of it lol
