Intel Core i7-12700KF Desktop Processor 12 (8P+4E) Cores up to 5.0 GHz Unlocked  LGA1700 600 Series Chipset 125W

Was worried about hearing how got these run, but with a 280mm aio cooler master cooler Im never cracking 50c after hours of gaming. All the cores are within 3c of each other and have had no issues. Idle is about 6c over ambient room temps. Could not be happier with this upgrade from a 4 core i7 performance wise. Can now run my games on ultra settings at 144hz and it feels like new games!

Unfortunately we needed too many other parts to upgrade my son’s computer. So we returned this along with another computer part. Received refund for other part but not this intel core. Tried asking status different ways. Please help 30 days coming next week. Too much money not to receive refund.

So, this is a very fast CPU. I was going to go with an i9 but decided to go with the i7 because it was cheaper, and the new CPUs were coming out soon anyways. I was able to overclock it to 5 Ghz for all cores. The only drawback, which everyone who is technical know, these CPUs run super-hot. My temps were around 80 to 90 degrees Celsius. They run pretty fast without an overclock, so I dont think its worth the trouble. An undervolt would probably be best, but I have to say this CPU is the best Ive owned in a long time.

Building new setup to replace laptop since I dont travel for work anymore.

Upgraded to this from an 8700k and was worried I wouldnt see that big of a performance increase but so far it does everything I expected it to do and more. No regrets.
