A great chip that performs how youd want it to. Its basically a factory-overclocked version of the 8700k, and it can still be overclocked even more. I left mine alone and it came out great.

Almost dont want to write this review and jinx it but so that this processor is kicking as and taking no names. I installed on an Auros Z390 Pro board and I actually think I might need to up the board a little. I have run some pretty nasty stress tests on it and comes through with flying colors, do note I have a water cooler on it for extreme temp management. If your thinking of getting one and dont want to spend the bucks on the next family up this is a GREAT processor. I run a few of the most intense games out on it, yes I know that is more video card than proc, but a great video card needs a good board and processor or you bottleneck it. Anyway, you wont be disappointed in this workhorse and I upgraded from 980extreme (which is over 1000 dollar processor when I bought it and it still retail over 800.)

It is totally the same as 8700k. When it boosted to 5g (single core), the temperature is crazy.

Logré sin ningún problema llegar a 5.0 Ghz con 1.34 v. 10 pasadas de IntelBurn Test y mi sistema se mantuvo estable.

Super awesome cpu! A lot of my friends nagged on me for not getting the “K” version but honestly if you dont plan to overclock your pc (i didnt) then this one will do great. Well exceeded what i expected

After having an old i3-590 for so long, I decided to finally make the jump to a bigger and better processor- and with all the reviews this thing got, I can firmly say that it does not disappoint whatsoever. Installation proved a little tricky to figure out, but it wasnt really an inherent issue with the product itself, more the motherboard. Upon getting it up and running, the performance of my PC knows no limits, it even turned my GPU into a bottleneck, which amazes me. All in all, this thing is absolutely top quality and very affordable all the same. Id absolutely recommend it for anyone wanting to make a jump.
