> 24 hourCPU came in in perfect condition. Installation was normal. Post on the first try. Easily overclocked w in the first two days of testing it. Purely out of curiosity. I personally dont want to buy another so I gradually increased it multiple times in reserved increments. Ran multiple stability tests w Prime95 Stess test (ran it for a hour each time) No failures. I finally stopped because why chance ruining a CPU that doesnt need to be OCd in the first place. BUT I will tell you that I was surprised at what I got frequency wise. (Stopped around 5.21 GHz stable and Id say warm at that frequency. I wasnt trying to keep the Rig cool though never touched fan curves). Very happy and I dont think I even tapped the potential IMO. Maybe half of its OverClock-ablity.

> 24 hourAfter unboxing a 2x4x2 paper box, this is what I received from amazon today. I’m gonna have to return and buy a new one; this clearly look like someone broke the processor and you can see the old glue spots here and there

> 24 hourthe 9700k is probably meant for people looking to upgrade from less performant chips or building a new PC, and will probably replace the 8700k in the lineup, naturally.
