> 3 dayWhat a beast, upgraded from a 7700k. This chip is a great sample. 5.1ghz at 1.315V and averages around 65C with my Kraken X62. The IMC is also incredible. Can run my Gskill Trident Z RGB 4133mhz with XMP enabled!

> 3 dayLoving the cpu went from 4690k to 9700k and I am seeing big difference in performance I was worried about heat issues due to how hot the 9000 series get and am still using my old hyper 212 heat sink and still keeps the 9700k under 22c 30c idle and 50c while gaming on ultra settings may be getting another fan for my desktop just in case

> 3 dayIts a good cpu dont get me wrong, its running under 50c at 100% on all cores while gaming. But only one core runs at 4.9ghz the rest at 4.7ghz, this whole generation was a gimmick and the solder is not running any cooler. When you take into account the cpus pcb is much larger.

> 3 dayThe single core performance when air cooled is around same as last generation i7-8700k, multi core for upto 8 threads is 10-12% faster when number of threads increase it seems a bit slower than i7-8700k.
