> 3 dayI got this over a 13th Gen since it is now fairly inexpensive and still plenty fast. I am using the Asus ROG Strix z690-E mobo so I should be able to upgrade to 13th Gen when those come down in price. This CPU needs a good cooler, I am using a ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. I am dual booting Linux and Win10 though I am running games mostly on Steam under Linux. Works surprisingly well.

> 3 dayI installed a large air cooler with 3 fans in large desktop with 5 fans and good airflow. but it is not enough for the recently released i912900KF. it still overheats and reaches 90c-96c degrees within 7-10 minutes of rendering when its 90% workload.

Greater than one weekSo Intel will not back this product up, so dont waste any money on them, they will ask you if you enabled XMP, and if you have a DDR5 system you will and then state that your warranty is void. Worst 600.00 I ever spent

Greater than one weekWhile I was away on a deployment I wanted to come back home to a little PC project, but wanted to build something more high-end (my previous build being an i7-9700K and 2080 Super). Luckily I heard about this i9 getting on the market and I was looking at the Ryzen 5900X, but I had a good experience with my previous Intel CPU (Nothing bad with the couple Ryzen builds I’ve had either).
