Product is ok but right after I ordered it, they started trying to upgrade it.

Not what I EXPECTED!!! Did NOT Come WITH CD-Rom WHICH I PAID FOR!!!!!

Iolo will lure you into believing you have purchased a computer maintenance package that you can use for a one year term when it actually will begin billing your credit card monthly. I totally did not expect this! It also opens your computer and email up to a barrage of offers for additional services not included in the original package. Im very very disappointed in the ethics of this company and will never associate with them again.

For three months Ive been trying to get help from Iolo support as System Mechanic 11 freezes my computer requiring me to hold the power button down as my computer wont shut down the normal way. They have not been able to figure out a solution, and will no longer respond to my requests for help. Stay away from Iolo products!!

I got this with my new pc a year and half ago and it was doing great until recently. As of version 11.7.1 and now, version 12.0, it produces a popup error that for some reason they arent able to resolve. Ive spoken to the iolo tech support which has some of the laziest people Ive ever dealt with working for them. Their sole answer for everything is to uninstall & reinstall; no matter how many times youve done that already. They said the issue would be resolved with version 12 but that hasnt happened so I cant recommend this product. Im very disappointed as this program has done a lot of good over the time Ive owned it but with their last two releases I cant say that anymore.

I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT WITH THE UNDERSTANDING IT WAS A CD NOT A CARD WITH THE ACTIVATION CODE. I RETURNED THE PRODUCT PER INSTRUCTIONS FROM IOLO. WHAT A SURPRISE WHEN MY REFUND TOTALED $3 95. NOT THE FULL AMOUNT OF $42 95. IT CAME TO A 100% STOCKING FEE . A GREAT LADY AT AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ABLE TO REFUND THE FULL AMOUNT. I CURRENTLY HAVE THE PROGRAM INSTALLED ON ALL MY COMPUTERS . I LOOK FORWARD TO DELETING THE PROGRAM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. NO MORE IOLO FOR ME.

My old Dell desk top with XP was just too slow to be useful. It was just too frustrating to use so I bought a new lap top. I have so much files and music on my desk top and really I was ready to take it to Staples to fix it AGAIN...but I saw this program. I figured better than spending about $200 to fix it. Best thing I did for my desk top computer for the cost...I did a total clean up and wow was I surprised how well my computer worked. I would say my PC is not perfect and I have to clean it up every few days, along with my virus scan but it was way worth the price. I can use it again on a regular basis. Just run the System Mechanic Total Care at night and Norton Scan and its good to go. One thing is you have to run it as the administrator if you have that on your system. Its not hard to learn.
