It is by no means water or dust proof but it does help protect my device.

The pictures make a point to show a reflective clear plastic shield built into the front cover. However, there is no shield in the front cover and they did not provide one with the purchase to place onto the IPOD screen, itself. Blatant phony advertising! I only kept it because it does provide a dust cover over the center button on front. I will not buy from them again.

Im not exaggerating when I say this is the best iPod case. Its super protective and good looking at the same time. I recommend this case to anyone with and iPod 6

Product was not what I thought. It came up in an “Otter Box” search. Clearly not an otter box. The case was so rigid I would have risked damaging the iPod touch had I tried to insert it. I returned the product for a refund.
