Greater than one weekIf youre wondering if these will fit your connector, then you have a....80%(??) chance that this is the right cable for you. Most devices that use this plug are either 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm OR 5.5 mm x 2.5 mm. They look very similar but should not be used together. Fortunately, most devices Ive found use the 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm size. If youre powering a single camera or light, then this will probably work for you too. I cut one of mine up so that I can measure the wire diameter. Its measured about .5 to .6 mm which puts the wires in the 22-24 awg range. For the price youre paying though, 2 pack, 30 feet of flat wires, its still not a bad deal! Just keep in mind that 22-24 awg should not be used to carry a lot of power. If youre using this to power a single camera or light, that should be fine. However, if you plan to extend it and then split it to power two cameras or lights, then you probably should get something thicker. From the source to the camera, you can split and then extend with these wires but I would not recommend splitting the power after youve extended it using these extension cables. Overall, I would still recommend it. Flat wires tend to be more expensive and 30 ft also tends to be more expensive.

> 3 dayIm sure these cables are perfectly fine for other applications. The value is extreme in terms of foot per dollar. But its not ideal for extending solar panel connections to the power station. I tested in several combinations and always lost 20-26 watts input from a 100w or 120w panel. The typical loss midday was 91 range without this cable then plummeting to 67 range once I attached the cable. Too bad because it was otherwise perfect including the flat cable allowing me to shut the door with the power station remaining inside.
