It worked fine. I used to to be able to extend a Pan Tilt Zoom security camera whose specification suggest it needs 25 watts to operate. The camera operated fine with the 30ft extension in line. Standard looking strain relief and and supple cable jacket. The jacket material is not slick. I expect it would hang up some if pulling amongst other cables. The contacts are nickle plated and are not gold.

Works great. I used it as an extention cord fory outdoor security cameras. I have it running thrlugh the walls and into the garage. Excellent quality and product.
