> 24 hourI needed red and the ad said it had red. It came with fuchsia and that isn’t RED! I didn’t need the other colors now but I will in the future. A disappointment. Ordered the red and got my yarn dyed with it!

> 24 hourI was not aware that that protein items (wool, etc) needed to be dyed with acid dye. I had curly wool locks that were natural white and wanted black. I used FAR less powder dye than recommended on the instructions/Jacquard website and still the wool did not absorb all of it so I have it in a jar to use again! Excellent deep color.

> 24 hourI almost gave it 3 stars because the colors seem to break and at times, especially when mixing. I cant seem to get good coverage on all batches. However, I gave it a 4 because I need to dye more wool and do a few things differently next time to see if it was user error to be fair. I didnt give 5 stars because there are no instructions included with the set and you have to go online to get them. They also arent the greatest of instructions. On a good note, the colors when they strike properly are as they should be. If I were starting out dying, I wouldnt be afraid to purchase this set.

> 24 hourWhy are these dyes for Wool, silk, nylon and feathers. Since when are those fabrics meant to be acid washed. The dyes do not work on cotton, they will not acid wash your jeans.

> 24 hourMy assortment arrived with Fire Red dye instead of the Hot Fuchsia pictured on Amazon’s product photograph (the other three dyes were correct). This is a problem since Hot Fuchsia is required to mix many of the colors shown on the Jacquard color mixing wheel. I suppose I will have to separately purchase Hot Fuchsia dye (if it ever becomes available on Amazon) if I am to get any use out of this dye set.

> 24 hourThis is a great kit. Citric acid is highly preferable to vinegar in my opinion. Unless you like your kitchen smelling like salad! I needed black dye to make olive drab. I’m glad that I got the set though. Not only did it arrive in time, which is what mattered, the other primaries gave me a finished product far better than had I gone with either just “olive” jacquard dye or even adding the black. Adding a touch of yellow and blue can make all the difference.
