A really good experience in tie dying. I had used other brands that didn’t start out as bright and faded quickly. This is a much better product. I did wash the shirts first with the included soda ash. I added urea to the dye also. Definitely worth it!

Ive never tie-dyed before, but with the instructions on the labels that was not an issue for me. The dyes were vibrant and could overlap for a variety of colors. I used this to make t-shirts and everyone was really happy with how they turned out.

You just cant beat the quality of these dyes. I have experimented with several different natural-fiber dyes, and Procion MX by jacquard has set a high quality standard. In the past five days, I have tie dyed 12 t-shirts, 9x 9 cotton wall tapestries (2 of them!) 3 cotton tank tops, 5 kids shirts, and 1 towel and I bought 2 kits. I still have an unopened fuchsia and black, and a partial turquoise, yellow and fuchsia. I have a new addiction.

Best price Ive seen on this dye. It IS colorfast for the most part, and can be used in cold water. Had a blast this summer dying old cotton and silk clothes AND even running shoes so that 20 year old once white blouses or things that had discolored in the wash had gorgeous new colors. Half the price Ive seen in stores around here. (Although found no real use for the yellow except to make green,) My daughter went wild with the fuschia -- dyed old handbags, stained blouses, old shirts, etc. The turquoise was my favorite. And black, what can we say, we spend a lot of time in NY--ya gotta have cred. And if somethings stained or discolored beyond hope of use of other colors, black covers a multitude of food groups, sweat stains, faded colors, etc. Easy to use, complete in package. Caution! Wear gloves, or youll have to explain why you have fuschia/turquoise/black hands for a week.
