> 3 dayMessy. Fun. I recommend this to anyone wanting to give tie dye a try. For the price, youre better off buying 1 or 2 of these, some empty squirt bottles, and a small box of latex gloves. However, if youve never tie dyed before, one of Jacquards kits is a great start. This is more for round 2, when youre determined to get your shirts to come out how you had pictured them coming out in your head prior to starting. The powder allows you to mix as much dye as needed, which is quite a bit more than youll get with a starter kit.

> 3 dayEasy to use. Can be messy, depending on the person/people. Fun. I wish there had been color recipes included, but guess I can play mad scientist.

Greater than one weekI am always creating tie dye pieces of clothing and Jacquard Procion dyes never disappoint. Using the soda ash and soaking your items first helps to maintain the beautiful and bright colors! These materials are easy to use... all you need to do is to follow the directions and you will have some amazing tie dye pieces!!!

> 3 dayAfter 24 hours of batching I thought it turned out great but then I washed it and this came out. This happened with all of them, this dye isn’t any good. I wasted my money.

> 3 dayI’ve had a good time tie-dying with this kit! I have done four tees and have plenty of die left for more. Read and follow the directions, look up some videos and you’ll be fine. My bag of soda ash was broken but the powder was contained in the package and I didn’t lose any.

> 3 dayI ordered the 4 pack with soda ash. The soda ash had busted open so I wasnt even able to see the dye until I opened the packaging. As I did so I discovered the turquoise was not turquoise. But an odd brownish gold. None of the containers were sealed, nor were they full. All in all. Im completely disappointed in this product

> 3 dayWorked great for me in ice dyeing technique. I dyed cotton velour, linen jersey, and cotton. All dyed nicely. From this little kit by mixing we can create almost any color -look up online mixing directions. I just improvised without measuring. Colors are strong. Just be prepared to rinse a lot -soak, rinse, soak, rinse. Many times. However once it is done bleeding, color stays nicely in the wash.

> 3 dayThe turquoise was clumpy like it was really old or had gotten wet at some point. The Jet black did not stay on garment, it washed out almost completely. If you want quality dyes for tie dye or just garment dying go to dharma trading.
