> 3 dayJayo is my new go to resin! Prints extremely easily, no harsh smells and you can’t beat the price. The strength of the print feels a bit stronger than Elegoo standard gray resin but not as strong as tenacious. Customer service is fantastic! Don’t hesitate to try out this resin! I’m sure you won’t regret it

> 3 dayI decided to test this resin and I am very happy with it. The 2kg containers are a nice size and a good value. I compared it against Siraya Tech Fast.

> 3 dayIm new at resin printing and have stayed with the first resin brand I purchased so I didnt need to dial in a new resin. After receiving some bad product I decided to check out other brands. I have used Jayo brand filament in my fdm printers with success. I needed one small piece to complete a print I am doing so just poured in the resin and hit print. No calibration. I am very pleased with the results. The print was successful first attempt. The piece came out with good detail. I didnt find the odor to be as strong as the previous resin I have been using. I will be purchasing more of this.

> 3 dayI like to buy Sunlu resin when it drops bellow $16 per KG. I wasnt seeing that happen, and read that Jayo is the same as Sunlu. This worked on my Sunlu profile and quality seemed great. I mostly print Minis for my kids and occasionally prototypes. Ill probably keep getting Sunlu, but this seems like a solid substitute (as long as it is on sale).

> 3 dayWorks great if you dont mind the yellowing, I tried multiple different settings but if you want it to stick to the build plate you will have to deal with the fact that it will be very yellow. The prints that were almost transparent had a bunch of failures halfway through because they fell off the plate, the only solution was to up the exposure time but that left me with the aforementioned yellow result

> 3 dayUpdated review I was a little hesitant of this resin at first. I got it back in the end of 2021 during their 2kg for $25 sale and really wanted to like it. I got okay use out of the black but seemed to have too many issues for it to really be worth it. Once I started using the transparent resin though everything changed. I love the transparent and it is now my go to resin for most everything. Durability: You wont be getting any ABS like resin durability out of this, but I have found its quite durable. Ive dropped my models on the wooden floor many of times and only really had issues with cracking on very delicate parts such a as bows, belts, and strands of hair. I do often drill and tap the prints with my Dremel and have never had issues with it being too fragile. Its probably not best for high intensity parts but itll work great for figures and miniatures (I print up to 1/3 scale and it supports its own weight very well after over a year standing) Smell: Its right in the middle. There are definitely some light fumes from this resin and I wouldnt recommend using it without any ventilation. Having said that I would also say it is significantly better than some other resins Ive used, especially cheaper ones. Print quality: I havent had any issues with the quality of the prints Ive had after over a year. All the details are crisp and the resin cleans very easily with mean green or isopropyl alcohol. The transparent does have to be babied a bit more than other clear resins to get that really clear look. I typically cure mine in water to help and then wet sand from 1000->5000 grit before clear coating it if I want a good glass look to it. I have included what it looks like normally cured without sanding in my photos of cooler (I over cured it a bit so it lost too much of its clear look. A bit of clear coat will bring back the look more or less). The transparent does take a fraction or two more per layer to cure, I dialed mine in at 1.9seconds per layer at 50% power on my anycubic mono x, but every printer is different slightly. Price: By far the best reason to get this resin. I almost exclusively buy from Jayo because of how dirt cheap it is. There are a few cheaper resins ($13-$17 a kg) on Amazon, but theyre either hot or miss for every bottle or downright terrible. A lot of times you can still even get the 2kg for $25 bottle deal (most people have good results with black, but I dont think I calibrated properly for it). I get transparent for about $17/$18 a kg and I think its by far one of the best deals for resin. TLDR PRO- dirt cheap, great results, decently durable, smell isnt too strong, lots of colors options, easily able to be drilled by hand CONS- there are more durable high end resins out there, the clear wont be as transparent as some high end brands, I had trouble with the black resin personally, it does have a smell. All in all I would recommend this resin and I will be buying a lot more of it as long as it stays this price.

> 3 dayIve used dozens of different brands of resins, and JAYO is great for the price - I havent regretted the grey 2 liter bottle purchased. It cures quickly, has a moderate smell (used in a ventilated area), and is strong enough for most uses. I havent had anything break on me as Im printing fairly durable parts, but I dont imagine it being particularly problematic for use on minis or anything else along those lines. My only advice is to make sure that you wash it very well if youre using anti-aliasing, because it can leave a bit of a slimy layer. I use a 2 stage automatic wash, then scrub the remaining uncured resin off with a toothbrush and some IPA, and Ive been getting phenomenal prints for an absurdly good price. Im so happy with this that Im ordering another 2 liter bottle, and it may become my go-to resin.
