> 24 hourSo far this Croc (we named it Dundee) has kept the ducks away from our pool. The ducks used to fly right down into the pool, now they land about 40 feet away, observe for a minute, then fly away. Well see if they figure it out in the future

> 24 hourThrew a pirate themed party, and this was a last minute impulse buy for the final decorations. It worked fantastically. The pattern was realistic and the size was perfect, I was afraid it would be too big to have indoors but it wasnt. We suspended him from the ceiling and after the party everyone wanted to take him home, should have gotten more than one!

> 24 hourLooks pretty good but didn’t work for what I needed it to do. Bought to scare ducks visiting the pool. It did not scare them. They still visit regularly.

> 24 hourThis inflatable alligator is literally the only thing that keeps the ducks out of our pool. I tried EVERYTHING. The ducks werent even afraid of me anymore, I couldnt scare them away myself and it was so frustrating. I put this inflatable alligator in the pool and it immediately scared them and they havent been back in TWO FREAKING YEARS!!!!! Guys, Im telling you - this thing works.

> 24 hourSo, I bought this to try and frighten away a pair of ducks that decided they like our swimming pool. The gator came with instructions about how to repair a leak, but no leak repair kit. I thought oh well, its just floating around in the pool. No sharp edges. What could happen? I still dont know the answer, only that this is no longer holding air after about a weeks use and it wasnt all that great at scaring the ducks, either. If I still had the packaging, Id return it for a refund, but hey, lesson learned.

> 24 hourThis alligator pool float scares away ducks! Look at the photo to see how I added two lead weight fishing sinkers using clear monofilament fishing line around the front via the neck and rear via in front of the hind legs. I also tied a white landscaping brick to the neck of the alligator using clear monofilament fishing line and placed the brick in the center of the pool using my pool skimmer pole. This setup keeps the alligator floating flat on the surface, slows the movement caused by wind, and keeps the alligator visible within the middle area of the pool. We have watched the incoming ducks swooping in to land in our pool and then accelerate up and away immediately upon viewing this alligator! Its actually kind of funny to watch. We tried chasing them off. We tried allowing our dog to chase them off. We tried stringing fishing line around the edges of the pool and across the pool. Nothing stopped the ducks from pooping in our pool EVERY DAY until we installed this alligator as shown in the photo and described here. Without the fishing weights and tying the alligator to the brick by his neck, the first breeze blew the alligator out of the pool and into our backyard.
