> 24 hourPurchased ahead of time for an event, (Kept in package to keep safe.) I blew up 2 days before event and sad it was almost totally flat less than 1 hour later…. Checked for leaks and appears to leaking at the sealing point for the valve…So no alligator at my event now, passed return date and to late to reorder… If you order one CHECK IT RIGHT AWAY…. the previous reviews show they can’t all be bad…

> 24 hourLooks pretty good but didn’t work for what I needed it to do. Bought to scare ducks visiting the pool. It did not scare them. They still visit regularly.

> 24 hourWe were amazed at how realistic it was. Purchased it to discourage the ducks from landing in our pool. Unfortunately, there was a seam that opened on the hind left leg letting all the air out. So, being fair to the manufacturer, we purchased a second one. BTW, I had recommended the alligator to several friends who also purchased. If this one goes the way of the first, we will be very u happy. It would have been advised to have the manufacturer include a small patch kit. This is a $40 lesson to us. Well, adding to my review. The second one we ordered came with an even bigger opening on the seam so, I can’t honestly recommend this product to anyone. What a shame. A simple patch kit would have helped.

> 24 hourSo, I bought this to try and frighten away a pair of ducks that decided they like our swimming pool. The gator came with instructions about how to repair a leak, but no leak repair kit. I thought oh well, its just floating around in the pool. No sharp edges. What could happen? I still dont know the answer, only that this is no longer holding air after about a weeks use and it wasnt all that great at scaring the ducks, either. If I still had the packaging, Id return it for a refund, but hey, lesson learned.

> 24 hourI bought this to keep ducks out of our pool. It is super flimsy and has a huge hole to inflate it which means the air leaks out before you can close it. I cant believe I paid $20 for it. It probably cost 10 cents to make. Im waiting for it to take flight out of pool in the wind. Its just plastered against the wall. Pretty sure ducks will be laughing at it later as they visit.

> 24 hourThis alligator pool float scares away ducks! Look at the photo to see how I added two lead weight fishing sinkers using clear monofilament fishing line around the front via the neck and rear via in front of the hind legs. I also tied a white landscaping brick to the neck of the alligator using clear monofilament fishing line and placed the brick in the center of the pool using my pool skimmer pole. This setup keeps the alligator floating flat on the surface, slows the movement caused by wind, and keeps the alligator visible within the middle area of the pool. We have watched the incoming ducks swooping in to land in our pool and then accelerate up and away immediately upon viewing this alligator! Its actually kind of funny to watch. We tried chasing them off. We tried allowing our dog to chase them off. We tried stringing fishing line around the edges of the pool and across the pool. Nothing stopped the ducks from pooping in our pool EVERY DAY until we installed this alligator as shown in the photo and described here. Without the fishing weights and tying the alligator to the brick by his neck, the first breeze blew the alligator out of the pool and into our backyard.

> 24 hourThis was used for selfies at a moving to Florida party. We put sun glasses on him and he was even brought by car to Florida! It was a great addition to the party for some laughs! I should have bought a couple more.

> 24 hourSo far this Croc (we named it Dundee) has kept the ducks away from our pool. The ducks used to fly right down into the pool, now they land about 40 feet away, observe for a minute, then fly away. Well see if they figure it out in the future
