> 24 hourThis is a very well-crafted backpack and the security leash works well, as does the wrist link. I would definitely recommend this product.

> 24 hourThis backpack lease is a good way to keep your toddler from potentially injuring him or herself. It may appear cruel or even crude to some but for others its a way of ensuring theyre peace of mind. I would much rather have my grandson tethered to me than laying in the road. With toddlers you just never know when theyre going to dash off and we grandparents are not as quick to react to emergency situations so this tethering system makes good sense.

> 24 hourThis penguin toddler backpack is perfect for taking my toddler on walks. It’s so difficult to keep on eye on her while dealing with the dog at the same time. The penguin design is adorable and the backpack straps are comfortable to wear. Best part, it helps keep her close to me at all times. It’s nice to have the 4 different ways to wear it too.

> 24 hourMy grandson is in love with this cute backpack. He tends to be a wild child running off and this is definitely a clever way to keep him contained without keeping hold of his arm. He still feels like he has a little bit of freedom but we all know who has the real control! Perfect for zoo trips since he won’t stay in a wagon!

> 24 hourMy 2 year old is very energetic. I dont care if people dont like when kids are on a leash. Its my kid and Im held responsible for her safety. This harness holds up great. My toddler loves to run and pull on it. She loves the butterfly design, so she likes to wear it. It is easy to adjust the straps. I highly recommend this to anyone with toddlers!

> 24 hourMy almost 2 yr old toddler son loves this backpack. Its his first backpack and as soon as we got this in, he wanted to wear it. The connecting wrist bands with the coil is good. The wrist part is adjustable with the velcro and safe for my toddler. The wrist part for my son fits securely after I adjust the band smaller around my sons wrist. My son thinks its fun to be connected to me and drags/pulls me around, we take turns. I am looking forward to using the accessories of the leash and the attaching wrist bands for the right occasion. It will work well. This is well made. For now, my son will enjoy using the backpack for his water and snacks when we go out for some walks. I also like the buckle harness that connects the back pack straps across the chest. It prevents the backpack from falling off and helps keep balance while walking.

> 24 hourThe backpack did not come with the blue retracted leash. It came with a cheap regular blue leash.

> 24 hourI have to admit that I always thought these things were absolutely absurd until I had kids. Especially once one has multiple little ones and tries to take them out, sometimes they seem to scatter like cats. After hearing multiple horrible stories on the news I felt like having one of these little backpacks was not only functional but they could also double as a little backpack for them to play with. What I ended up doing was introducing the backpack more as a fun treat. We stuffed it with toys to play with at home before we went out. This way it was familiar. This introduction helped my little feel comfortable wearing the backpack. The backpack fits on just like any normal backpack with straps. It has a clasp in the front that locks. It’s easy to unclip but it’s not easy for a little hand to unclip so they do need help. Of course, that is the purpose. On the bottom of the penguin there is a silver D ring. That’s where the lead or leash can attach. The lead is a strong coil that has a metal material inside but it’s covered by soft plastic. The adult portion of the strap has Velcro and easily adjusts. It’s soft on the inside and does not rub. The fit is more appropriate for my wife’s wrist than mine. Large wrists can hold instead. Also on the adult bracelet is a tiny plastic key. The key is to use not for the backpack but if the leash type apparatus is connected to wrist to wrist. The plastic key locks and unlocks so that the clip cannot be undone without it. The child’s bracelet has a little penguin that matches the backpack. So, technically the set has two ways to use it. The parent can be attached directly to the little on their wrist or to the backpack. It’s just one more extra safety precaution and with a little backpack and a decorative bracelet. The backpack itself is a little penguin and has a soft material. While I commented on the coil lead being used, there’s also a soft nylon type leash that can be used. The black nylon one matches the penguin but does not attach to the parents wrist except for the parent holding it. The spring type coil does have plenty of give and can stretch quite large. The main difference in using the two is going to be whether or not the parent once to just be able to grab the black lead or to have it attached to themselves. This little bag offers a lot of versatility. There are multiple safety features and options for both a parent and child. Every parent and child is obviously different but for us, in busy areas where a little extra security is preferable it is nice to have and this penguin delivers.
