Used for installing a kitchen hood unit air exhaust in side of house. Only used once. Did the job well. Nice clean cut. Perfect 6” hole. Can’t attest to longevity as this was a one and done use for me. But based on my experience, I would recommend!

The arbor does not fit in a 3/8 drill. I had to file it down. It does cut good and smooth .

Ive only used it once. Well see how it holds up but for the price it served my needs. And beats having a repairman come out

The threaded arbor hole is not perpendicular to the plain of the hole saw, causing the thing to wobble unacceptably. Completely useless tool as a result of this defect..

There are a lot of review that say the blade dulled after one cut, or the threads stripped, etc. I had none of those issues. I bought this to drill holes in my RV floor, which is 3/4 plywood. Four successful holes later, its still pretty sharp and totally usable for future projects. You do have to watch when you stop the drill that if the saw is in free space, inertia will keep it spinning and it will unscrew from the arbor. After I cut a few holes, it was firmly screwed down to where I cant even unscrew it anymore, so the unscrewing was a temporary problem for me. I guess because I was expecting something unusable, I am really pleased with how it worked. Not for cutting metal for sure, but if you just want a few holes in plywood or sheetrock, this is a great cheap alternative.

Arbor shank is soft and will strip off easily. I cut 2 4 holes and the arbor is shot.

Bought to install ceiling recessed lights. Definitely a great value. Only used on drywall but had no problems cutting

I needed this hole saw for an at home DIY project and it met my needs with no problems. Having sold/used commercial brand hole saws in my prior life I can tell you this saw and arbor are not the same quality as the red box or blue/white box products, but you are also talking a fraction of the price. Overall I am happy with this product. It fit my needs for a one time DIY project at a very affordable price & I would recommend it to a friend with similar needs.
