I liked the shape but the band of numbers are too small and to close together to get a reading unless it is a large angle.

Why waist time on a roof? I can quickly pull this tool out on a bid and have the pitch in seconds. Gives angles for any necessary cuts in a flip of the tool. For the price I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t recommend it.

Simple, easy-to-use -- no downside to this little tool !! Here in the southwest, a lot of roofs that we call flat roofs actually need a slight pitch for water runoff during rainy season but when homeowners do their own work they take the term flat roof literally - checking for water damage, one of the first steps I like to do is to check the pitch of the roof just to be certain there is some slope and water isnt pooling and staying on the roof area. This tool makes checking pitch so easy!! A total winner.
