This comb is small enough to carry in your purse and is good for combing heat-resistant wigs. I heard that brushes may fray the ends of that type of wig.

I used these combs as a rake for the sand table in a preschool classroom. It smooths the sand beautifully.

I originally ordered these for a wig that I bought. However I have found that they work great for my own hair. I like the beachy wavy look and these are perfect for that. They create just enough of a comb through to keep the waves in my hair. Very well made!
