Joshs Frogs Substrate Barrier (24x18)

Havent installed yet, exactlly what I needed though

This is a very small square of felt like fabric.

Well this definitely works as a barrier, because it doesnt let anything through. Even water. I cut it to size, placed it over the top of my drainage layer, and decided to test it before adding all my substrate. Im really glad that I did that now. After I poured a bit of water on top, it pooled up on the barrier and did not go through. I figured it might just be slowly trickling down so I left it overnight and the water was still standing on top the next day. Unfortunately that defeats the purpose of using it over a drainage layer.

Not worth it water doesn’t even pass through the “mesh layer” which defeats the purpose of a drainage layer. On top of that it’s overpriced for cheap material that you can buy in a roll for 5 dollars. Don’t by into the good reviews most don’t know what they’re talking about.

I feel like $8 a sheer is a RIP off

These barriers were part of going bioactive in my gecko and frog enclosures. I was worried that getting a wire mesh barrier would cause cuts and scrapes on my pets, especially my frogs. This is not a problem with these soft ones.

This will not let water through!!!! This will leave your abg mix soaked and will not drain!!!!! So disappointed!!!!!! I want my money back that i wasted!!!!

Im not positive that I have my setup complete, but I like where it is going.

Was just to going to use a window screen but thought that I should buy something exactly made for a barrier. Cut a little off and it was fine
