> 24 hourI picked this up thinking that despite it saying that it is a Macbook screen extender; that it could actually work on other laptops. However it cannot. It is tiny and would only fit a macbook air; it wont even fit a normal macbook (at least the ones that I have seen and the measurements I looked up). The screen is very small at 12 but the visibility of the screen itself isnt that great. Contrast is pretty poor but motion @ 60Hz is good (as shown by pictures). I just had to hold the monitor up to my laptop to do the testing. it comes with a built in USB-C cable (which also is dangerous if it breaks) and has an angle that is really only built for a macbook air.... This portable screen isnt very versatile as it has no stand and no way to use it with anything BUT a laptop that it can mount to the back of with magnets / glue which is pretty nuts.... So if your laptop doesnt match it exactly (just like none of mine do) it can literally not be used. So overall I put it back in the box because I dont have a laptop that matches this little screen also the fact that the box has a different brand than the external box and the brand in the listing, which is sketchy.

> 24 hourIll start by stating that I do not own a macbook. I got this knowing that it may not fit on my laptop perfectly, but also wanted to use it with my phone. the screen does not work at all with my HP laptop, because no all USB-C ports support video out. This is not the fault of this device, rather that of vague specifications and lack of standards. ive conneted this to several dell laptops at work, as well as my samsung chromebook, all of which seem to work great. i connected it to my phone (Galaxy s21 ultra) and it poped right up. this screen has a short, built in cable at the bottom so that you can use the port on the side for an additional power source. this does not work on my phone. i have to plug the single cable from my phone into the side port. this means that there is no way to charge the phone while using it, which is a shame. the picture quality is good and the screen seems to be responsive. the case itself seems well made. im planning on keeping this in my vehicle, along with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse so that I can use my phone like a pc when i need a little more screen area.

> 24 hourVery slim and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around in my laptop bag. It also comes with a protective cover that can also use a mouse pad. The cover is magnetic which makes it easy to take off. Easy connection, only one USB C cable needed.

> 24 hourSo This is designed for a Macbook Air 13, an extremely light computer. The screen is 12, significantly smaller than the already small macbook screen. The screen quality isnt great, especially compared to the laptops built in screen. The attachments to make this work weigh more than the laptop, the screen mechanism is clumsy; this is a REALLY BAD DESIGN. Reduces your macbook battery life by about 35% while on. so not great for travel. Setup and installation is pretty complex for something that should just snap on.

> 24 hourThis is pretty much the perfect monitor for a smaller MacBook. It is super easy to setup, works seamlessly, and its very easy to travel with due to the protection panels, making it secure and portable. Its nicely constructed as well - which is important for something you might want to throw in a backpack - which you will want to do with this. It attaches so easily to the primary screen - which is a big bonus when it comes to these as usually you need a stand etc for a secondary monitor. NOT having that makes this worth buy on its own, but all of the above AND the fact that its got great picture quality is a big plus as well. Overall this is a solid choice for a secondary monitor for a MacBook. I highly recommend it!

> 24 hourI ordered this monitor not realising it was designed specifically for the MacBook Pro. My wife owns one, but she didnt really need an extra monitor, while I was in dire need for my Dell XPS 13. Fortunately the monitor is also compatible with my Dell. Sort of. The backplate of the monitor is shaped to fit the Macbook, with slightly curved edges to match its contours, so it doesnt attach very well to my square edged Dell. It still works, though. The image quality is very good, though not quite up to the standard of my own laptop (which has a 4K screen, so I wasnt expecting it to). Colour representation is pretty accurate, and I like the matte screen. Im giving this monitor 4 stars simply because I dont think theres any real point in making a monitor that only fits a specific laptop. Ive tested plenty of excellent monitors that can be easily attached to laptops of any size, so this seems like a solution in search of a problem. Other than that, though, its very good.

> 24 hourThe resolution was garbage, it was like having a 90s flip phone resolution on my mac. Too heavy, anything more than a slight angle and the screen would fall back and it has no kickstand. Could not pivot enough to be useful in any direction. The only thing I could see this for is using it as a training device on the back of a laptop if someone was sitting across from you. It did fit and stay on my mac well, that much I can say. I will stick with my iPad and my Mountie clamp. It was worth a shot.
