these needles are very lightweight. it says they are aluminum (I cant tell if its aluminum or plastic) but it seems smooth and ok. They seem hallow inside. This product came with SO MUCH plastic for no reason. Each color of needles were packaged in a little plastic bag, then they send this tube which according to other reviews is always broken - mine is also fractured - it is made of cheap hard plastic. I honestly dont know why. I wouldve been happier if they took all the plastics out and simply ship the needles which is what I paid for...

I purchased these for weaving. I thought they were going to be plastic. Imagine my pleasant surprise to find they where metal. I like them a lot and it is a good value as you get 5 or 6 of them with a little tube to keep them in.

Perfect bent needles for weaving in yarn ends. Only reason I knocked off a couple stars is because they sent me only red ones, but the picture shows red, yellow, blue, and green.

Really like using them and I love the variety of colors they came in! :)

the container has a crack in it, but the needles are great

Great value. I use these for binding off of my Sentro Jammit and Addi knitting machines. The tip is just small enough to fit between the pins to pick up the loops when casting off. Great value!
