Not steel but rather, made of aluminum. They are great tho, and work wonderfully however, bexause they are not steel, as the description states, they dont attach to my needle magnet and I just know its a matter of time before I lose all 5 of them. Still a good needle tho.

The bent tip makes it so much easier to sew head to body of crocheted teddy bear.

They are kind of cheap feeling but I am using it for yarn so that is not a big deal to me. The needles came different sizes and color then from the photo.

These are perfect for my weaving and yarn work. The bent tip on the needle is especially helpful for the weaving.

I was excited I got all different colors until I realized I only got 7??? I feel like if the product says 8 you should get what you are paying for. Would have given it 5 stars since Ive orded these before but knocking it to 2 for inconsistency.

Love these tapestry needles! I use them to sew crochet pieces together and it has made it much easier on me. They are great quality, came just as pictured in the product photos.

these needles are very lightweight. it says they are aluminum (I cant tell if its aluminum or plastic) but it seems smooth and ok. They seem hallow inside. This product came with SO MUCH plastic for no reason. Each color of needles were packaged in a little plastic bag, then they send this tube which according to other reviews is always broken - mine is also fractured - it is made of cheap hard plastic. I honestly dont know why. I wouldve been happier if they took all the plastics out and simply ship the needles which is what I paid for...
