> 3 dayChildren are excited to read when they find an author they love. So we encourage our child to go for it. Keep them engaged with a book vs television or laptop.

> 3 dayI bought this for my daughters birthday. It came packaged up like a box set should, so I didnt think to check to see that books 9-12 were actually in there. Who would? We got books, 9, 10, and two 11s. NO book12. So mad. Who would think to check to see that a sealed package boxed set actually included all 4 books?? And, because I was saving it for her birthday, its now outside the return zone.

Greater than one weekMy grandchildren love these books. They laugh and laugh at all the funny things Junie B. says and does. They also are Accelerated Reader books so they can take tests on them at school to check their comprehensio - always 100 because they are so appealing to young children.

> 3 dayI cant imagine more inappropriate reading for a 5-8 year old. These books are loaded with poor grammar, individual words that are too advanced and, on top of that, they encourage bad behavior. Avoid this series.

> 3 dayHave you read Junie B Jones? I just purchased the box set and began reading them to my kindergartener. I was horrified from the beginning at the very attitude and rude, ignorant spirit of Junie B Jones. She hates her name, the bus, the people on it, the teacher and her new school. What a negative thing to meet someone on the bus and instantly HATE them. Is this the kind of human interactions that we should be teaching our children? She yells, throws fits and generally has attitude about everything. The grammer is written from a 6 year olds perspective, which does nothing to educate our children about the way things should be phrased. This is not the picture of kindergarten, nor the worldview that I would suggest to my children or anyone elses for that matter. After 4 chapters, the entire series is in the trash as a waste of money. Think twice about what you are reading to your impressionable young children (or letting them read for themselves!)
