> 24 hourPurchased this as a replacement for my son’s old Rollerblade pair. It is made well but my sons prefers his old pair as they were more comfortable.

> 24 hourBought these for my grandson. He loves them! Its actually the 2nd pair Ive purchased. He wears a boys size 6 shoe and I bought the size 4-8 adjustable. Theyre pretty stiff/tight at first but they break in quickly.

> 24 hourMy 8 yr old got these for Christmas and it is now his go to ride whenever playing with friends and brothers outside. I have to tell him no skating in the house he loves them so much. I would say these are comfortable since he doesnt complain like he did with his last knock off brand skates. And they are much faster plastic wheels and bearings than his last pair.

> 24 hourSon loves them and he has sensory issues. They take a strong hand to adjust but it just means they don’t slide So that’s fine.

> 24 hourPreface, in my youth I skated aggressively, the skates that allow grinding and going up and down bowls, half pipes, and off kicker ramps. In the early 2000s k2 was well known for aggressive skates (see above). While they’ve almost completely ditched the aggressive skating scene they do make quality skates for kids. I bough two pairs of these for my kids, and one my kids nearly won’t take them off so… +1 for comfort. They’re adjustable and will last awhile since k2 has been making skates for decades. One of the 1star reviews above states the straps were all torn up after first use. Yes, these are starter skates and if your kiddo falls the wrong way on them they will rip up the straps. As for mine the straps have survived several months of falling and are still in good condition. If your kids are taking interest in jumping off ramps, over small grass medians or just general high speed technical tricks then these skates are not for them. Soft boots (which these are) allow far too much movement of the foot inside the skate for excellent stability. In the rare case your kiddo is going to the skate park or interested in doing tricks / jumps then get them a hard boot (k2 does not sell hard boots anymore with the exception of one boot). Summary, great first learning skate for kids, adjustable to size up with them. Comfortable, stable enough for a young learner. These are meant for the casual skater / learner. Removable brake is a big plus for those kids learning to slow / stop without them. My oldest (younger than 10) doesn’t need the brake anymore.
