> 3 dayI am a professional illustrator and these days I tend to draw on my iPad more than any thing else. Since moving from a desk top/tablet setup to an iPad, I began having neck and upper back pain from hunching over my work. I knew I needed something that would bring my iPad into a more vertical position to ease my back. I chose this because it seemed the sturdiest option at the best price. I really like this stand. It easily withstands the pressure of my hand from drawing, even strokes with lots of pressure. I do sometimes hold my other hand lightly at the base to keep it from tipping but only when I’m writing or drawing with a lot of pressure . I’m really glad I got this. My back has been saved the strain of bending over my screen.

> 3 dayThis stand is substantial, attractive, easy to adjust, and folds flat. Offers the perfect angle for calls or reading. Its useful for my training and yoga Facetime calls, as its very adjustable and easy to move around. Excellent value.

> 3 dayIts the best stand out there for my ipad Air, I just wish the support channels had been extended another eighth of an inch, then my Gumdrop protection cover would have slipped right in. Now it rests on the top of the prongs, which I can live with, but the channels could easily have been widened with no detriment to the design function, or alternatively the upturned prongs left off altogether, (like the Kabcon version for the ipad pro 12.9, which my wife has). Measuring, there is .580 between the inside prong (minus the removable edge covers) and the small wear pad on the support face. If this wear pad is removed then it would add .060 to the gap or, if you are given to this sort of thing, you could cut off the upturned prongs and then anything can be supported.
