Broke my screen trying to install

Pretty easy to install once you have the old one off.

Ordered at the beginning of February and received the wrong package. Had it replaced and received the item broken and now I’m stuf ordering a new one and waiting another week and a half.

The screen replacement was complete with repair tools. Unfortunately the replacement did not go very well. The the ribbon kept getting caught in between the enclosure. The glue didnt hold everything together because the ribbon can only go in so far. The best thing to do is bring your cracked screen to a repair shop and let them replace it. This way if something goes wrong you can bring it back to them and let them keep fixing it until its right. Half my screen us unresponsive which is a disappointment.

After going through the entire hassle, the digitizer didn’t work. It’s defective. Obviously I can’t return without cracking the screen. Very disappointed. I have replaced screens countless times so I know it wasn’t something I did.

Terrible!!!! My ipad has never been the same since installing this screen. With this screen installation it has given my ipad a mind of its own. Some parts of the screen is not sensative to touch. So I cannot use some of my apps effectively. Other times the screen will click on something I didnt even click on. I was better off with my cracked up original screen that came with my ipad.

After completing repairs, I realized the home button was not working. It did not click!! So I had to do re-detach glass panel. Ohhh,,, sadly, glass was cracked in this process. I compared the home button with original genuine one, then I attached a piece of tips under the home button. Then it works, but with cracked glass panel. Its awful.

Inexpensive and quality. Careful removing your old screen not to damage the Home Button and wiring as this one does not come with it.
