Kaytee Clean & Cozy Extreme Odor Control Bedding for Pet Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters, Gerbils, and Chinchillas, 65 Liters

Do they make super extreme odor control? Better than regular bedding we’ve used previously but still looking for something better

My 9 year daughters 1st pet Hamster got wet tail and died Cause was too much dust after we switched to this. Sad day, we loved her pet too!

Love that controls odor pretty well but the white color turns yellow and is kinda gross.. only complaint

We normally use carefresh pet bedding but decided to try Kaytee this time. The material was made very nice & our hedgehog seems to like it! However, I do think Carefresh does do better with masking smells

I like both this bedding and CareFresh, but they have their differences. This is like shredded tissues – very soft and fluffy. I expected it to get drenched in urine and clump up, but it didn’t do much of that. CareFresh is made of thicker pieces that have more of a “fluffy cardboard shreds” aspect to them. I expected a noticeable difference in performance but didn’t find one. Sometimes this is cheaper than CareFresh, sometimes it’s more expensive. For my rabbit, either one works just fine so I get whichever is cheapest at the time. I do imagine that small rodents, such as the gerbils I love but don’t currently own, would prefer this to CareFresh, unless they got tired of jumping around in the billowing piles of Kaytee bedding. There seem to be reporting a lot of variability in this product. My package came from Amazon, it has the texture of tissues, and it’s mostly white though there is about 15% blue mixed in. I have uploaded some pictures of the two bedding in my rabbit’s litter box. The white and blue Kaytee is on the left and the tan CareFresh is on the right. But that’s JustMe and my Rex rabbit!

Keeps the smell down.

I wish I would have bought this litter from the beginning! It lasts a long time! Not to mention it definitely helps with the smells of owning guinea pigs! Its also so soft!

not sure what else to say but this bedding is perfectly fine for small animals I bought this from Petco since it was the only bedding they had left in stock and my mice havent died yet, its been a few days, I even set them on the bedding for 5 hours to see how it would react with their health before I put it in their cage and they are fine. idk what these other reviewers are doing to their animals but its obviously not the bedding, heck its not even scented.

Should be more absorbent
