Kaytee Clean & Cozy Natural Small Animal Pet Bedding 24.6 Liters

This stuff is very dusty. Where they get off claiming its 99.9% dust free, I have no idea. False advertising! The bags are very small. I highly doubt that theres 50 liters in each bag (maybe when its wet and it expands to 3 x its weight, as claimed, but then you would just have to throw it out anyway, so whats the point?). Why is something that your pet pees and poops on so darned expensive? Its made out of paper, not gold! Major rip-off!

I ordered another brand that was advertised as natural, and the chemical smell was enough to knock me over, I cant imagine the hamsters would have survived living in it. I highly recommend the Kaytee Natural, its softer and odor free. Until its used of course:)

Very absorbent and controls odors nicely. Goes a long way.

Bought this product since my normal kind was out and it has been awful. It’s such a thin material that it absorbs and sticks to the rabbit floor of the cage and won’t come loose. I clean the cage every day and I have even tried adding more bedding when I change it and have even added throughout the day and it still doesn’t help. The smell is awful as well.

This product is terrible I wish I could give no stars. The absorbency is close to none I left it for a day and it was sooo stinky already so I changed it and all the “liquid” was at the bottom that didn’t absorbed at all.

When I only looked from the cage after placing the bedding, I could already see all the dust along the walls of the cage. It was very rough against my skin! Its probably just me, but when I touched it, that spot felt itchy for a few hours afterwards. I removed it immediately out of my hamsters cage. I will not buy this bedding again, and do not recommend it for anybody else.

I bought this by mistake thinking it was cedar chips and thought why not. I use it in my parrots cage and have never smelled anything so bad. If a bird can make it smell this way after a week, I can’t imagine what small animal would make it smell like.

Absorbs nicely, leaving the bottom of the cage dry. Pretty fluffy and soft. My Holland Lop enjoys digging in it. I dont have a sense of smell but no one has mentioned a smell from the rabbit between weekly cleanings.

It’s good stuff, been using it for awhile. But Amazon no longer carries it.
