This is the best hamster bedding Ive tried! I like to make the bedding very deep on one side of his cage and pack it down. This packs down well so he can tunnel through it.

I bought this for my hamster habitats. It is a more affordable price than the other product that I prefer. It is pretty comparable in quality and value as the one that I usually get, but the price is a good bit lower. Seems like it is not as good to make tunnels in as the other, but for something that is disposable, it is a good enough quality for the price. The hamsters like it fine.

I always get the Kaytee brown version for my Guinea pigs but thought Id try the white. The texture and absorbency is much different. The white being more toilet paper texture and absorbency, while the brown is more paper towel like. If youre looking for super softness go white. If you want absorbency and not having to replace the bedding constantly, go brown. Hope this helps!

I have an indoor Dutch. We were using cedar shavings and decided to give this a try. I loved it so much I immediately ordered a second bag, the larger version. With cedar shavings there was almost always an odor in his cage. The only time I catch odor with this (I have the unscented) is if I stick my head IN his cage and hang out. I scoop daily or every other day by hand (with a glove) and its really easy to remove. I totally clean it out about every week and a half or so. With daily cleaning it seems to last longer. Oliver (last name Queen....if you know then you know) LOVES when I put fresh bedding in. He gets in and plays and fixes it how he likes it. I will be purchasing this for years to come.

I ordered two large bags of these because they were on sale here and Ive had good experience buying the same product from a pet shop. Im a new piggie parent, and Id gone through one small bag of this that I grabbed at a pet shop after I first adopted and was scrambling to get provisions. Maybe it was a bad batch or maybe its how a lot of people talk about inferior products through this website. But Im not gonna bother with this brand again. The dust was insane. As soon as I grabbed the first handful out of the bag, I could see tons of fine dust in the air, even in poor lighting. Ive gone back to oxbow paper bedding through this website, an its been ok so far. Side note.. our household got an itchy bug infestation coinciding with the day I got this overnight delivered and used. Ive heard some bedding has mites but still find it hard to believe. However, weve had some kind of itchy infestation. Our pets dont seem bothered, just us humans.

This was a better value buying a larger package of bedding then what I end up paying in the local pet store for smaller packages. I am really happy with the savings. And with the bigger package, its nice not running out so often also, and have to keep running to the store. As for the bedding itself, I havent tried any other so far to have anything to compare it to. I will say that it doesnt seem to absorb odor. It just is needed to give the piggies something soft and also to absorb their pee. My daughter has two guinea pigs and they sure do smell. After cleaning the cage, its only a few days later and it already starts smelling awful. They eat a lot and drink a lot. Not my favorite pet, thats for sure. But this is a good value. So far the best Ive found.

This is wayyyyy cheaper on Amazon than in-store so I definitely recommend ordering it on here! I use this for my rabbit’s litter box and it works great and doesn’t stick to her feet too much when she hops out. This bag lasts me about a month to a month and a half with one rabbit.

This product works really well for our rats. It’s unscented but very absorbent.
