Kaytee Clean & Cozy White Small Animal Bedding For Pet Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters, Gerbils, and Chinchillas

I buy this product often at the local petstore for anywhere drom 15-20$ and decided one day to see if amazon carried it. Not only did they carry it but it was a larger bag and Almost 1/4th the price. Thr product comes compact so its able to store fairly easy and by rubbing it with your fingers or letting your critter pull it apart it expands. I use it for a hamster and it keeps the smell very minimal and absorbs urine fairly well but not completely. If you have a smaller cage cleaning every 3-5 days is optimal and a larger cage you can get away with maybe 5-8 days without a bad odor. Poo does not get absorbed but it does keep it from sticking to the bottom of the cage and makes for easy removal. As for my critter. She seems to love it. It keeps her warm in the winter and she is able to make a large pile for herself to cozy up in and is still able to breathe. But it does not dtay in place like some den materials may be able to. It is easy for her to move and manuver to do what she wants with it. Cleaning the cage is easy enough and usually it can be just dumped directly in the bin and refilled. It lasts a long time as well and its well worth the calue for the price.

Very easy to clean also very absorbent and keeps oders away

I love this stuff. I have to use bedding like this at the moment for my piggies and it helps keep their cages soft and not wet like so many other brands I have used. I am waiting on making cage liners for them while I build their new cages, so they can be mesured to the right size. This stuff has really saved me. And it works really well for two months for my two little piggies. They get so excited to play in the white fluff.

Best hamster bedding there is in my opinion! She digs so much more now and the bedding is white so it’s easier to clean her cage in a every other day basis. Do recommend! I use two bags for my hamsters bin cage, and it’s plenty for her to dig and burrow in.

Literal SHREDDED candy wrappers. Since my order was misplaced I went to the store to buy some more bedding for my rabbit, while waiting for new ones. When I opened it I found a StarBurst wrapper still in tact in there. I would recommend checking these each time you open them cuz I have also seen reports of MITES in th bedding.

Make sure you break it up in the bag or the pieces will fly and u dont want to breath this in..also my genie pigs sneezed a bunch wen I first put in their cage, only thing I like about this is it has no scent and its pretty good on absorption, also I only clean the cage about once a week which is amazing

Definitely expands and soaks up a lot if waste. Does not do much for odor control though.

This is a great, more affordable alternative to carefresh bedding. Here is my full breakdown of the product: What I love: - The white color makes it easy to spot-clean more soiled areas, making individual bags last longer because a full dump-out cage clean is not always necessary. - This product is the only bedding Ive tried for my mice that seems truly dust-free. This is very important, as small pets have delicate respiratory systems and absolutely must be provided with dust-free bedding if you wish to provide them with a long, healthy life. - This bedding is soft and comfortable and provides my pets with excellent nesting and tunnel-making material, which enriches the lives of hamsters and mice, who naturally tunnel and build nests. - This bedding expands a lot! I have five mice in three different cages, and can easily provide them with 2-3 complete dump-and-fill changes per bag, which is as good a return as one can expect for a set up like mine. - I feel this product is reasonable priced, especially on sale. What Im not crazy about: - Odor absorption is low, though I am not as concerned about this as some people, since I find a light mouse-smell pleasant. People who house male rodents, who give off a stronger scent, may not find this aspect adequate. All in all, I love this product. It keeps my girls healthy, happy and tunneling. They like to rearrange it into big nests. I can sleep easy knowing my cherished pets have a safe, clean environment to live in.

I am not impressed with this one for 2 baby Guineapigs, it gets stinky too fast and doesnt control odor.Im going be switching to one I used years ago.This is more for a Hamsters cage.Not a bad product but not for Guineapigs and Price is good.
