Kaytee Walnut Litter 18L

We had been getting the shredded paper for the bottom of our bird cage and I got this to try to help with smell. Not only does it help, it is less dusty than the paper shreds. I will be buying this again.

This litter is too small/fine, so you need A LOT to cover up the bottom of a cage, and when I used it for my two finches, there was an odor within 2 days.

The photo shows just 1 of the MANY holes in the bag. The litter was all over the box & got all over the floor. This is the bottom and when I flipped it over to stop the litter getting everywhere there was a hole near the top too! NOT happy that tons of litter got ALL OVER my floor.

I love it for bedding for my birds. It lasts for a long time. Im just swiping the top mess and adding a little of the walnut bedding. Once per month , I am replacing all of it. My birds are happy with this bedding. No dust, just a very light smell of walnut.

Pleasant scent and works great, however my conure can reach through the grill at the bottom of the cage and likes to flick it!

I am using this for tumbling media, for handgun brass. Works great, at a decent price.

My bird didn’t like this product, it reminds me of sand. I will stick to corncob bedding.
