KEEN Unisex-Child Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandals

I purchased these for a cruise the family and I went on last year. Great purchase! I need a shoe I could walk around in at the various ports, get wet in and would be great for hiking as all of excursions involved various activities that included hiking, climbing waterfalls, an other exiting activities. Not to mention, the colors were great as it matched well with my bathing suit. I will say that after a few hours, they arent the most comfortable shoes but they bearable and I still love them. As a matter fact, after we returned from our trip I put them away and forgot that I had done so. One day the family put on their shoes and I went looking for mine and couldnt find them. I thought that I had some how left them on the ship. I was so upset but low and behold, i recently found them and they came in handy yet again. I was so excited that I found them again. Not as excited about the lack of memory but...heres to aging:-)

Love these sandals. My two kids get a new pair every year and live in them all spring and summer. Very durable and worth the money!

These shoes are absolutely perfect for our very active 3 year old! Im certain he will outgrow them before they even start to show wear and tear! Very impressed and will be purchasing from the Keen brand more in the future!

Difficult for 4 year old to put on independently.

Love Keens. Weve purchased at least 6 pairs over the years for my daughter. These shoes last forever; they only need replacing when theyve been outgrown. And, as they usually run a tad big, this allows for multiple seasons of wear on one pair. Using the sizing chart off Keens website, I ordered a size 6 Big Kid in the Hawaiian Blue / Green Glow for her. According to the size chart, this shouldve allowed enough room for growth as her foot was between the 5 - 5.5 size. When the size 6 arrived, she could barely get her foot inside -- far too tight! So, I return the size 6, thinking perhaps Id measured wrong, and order a size 7 in another color. The size 7 Big Kids was so huge on her feet, I could easily wear it (wear a Size 9M Womens). Sizing seems wildly inconsistent between colors, even with using Keens official size chart. Id love to reorder the 6 in Hawaiian Glow but afraid it wont follow the chart again.

Keens are such quality shoes. We love these bright super-hero blue ones for my 6 y.o. I actually bought 3 other pairs for my other kids and am a repeat customer since these last so well.

I purchased these KEEN Newport H2 sandals and they arrived quickly. I ordered these KEEN sandals for my special needs daughter. I love these sandals because they have a closed toe. These sandals have a secure fit lace capture system with hook and loop adjustability over instep which you dont have to worry about tying. At the top of the sandal it comes with a velcro strap allowing them to securely close the sandal. The outside of the sandal comes in a quick-dry webbing material for the active kid who likes to splash in the water. These sandals are great because they allow your feet to breath. Also, they come with good arch support. I order KEEN sandals all the time for my daughter. The fit great and still give her the freedom of wearing something other than sneakers in the summer. I do look at her feet after wearing the sandals for a few hours and then again at the end of the day and her feet look perfect! No redness. no blistering and she does not kick off her sandals because her feet are too hot.

These are super sturdy and my four-year-old son can beat these up quite hard and they can take it. The one downfall, and it is a big one for me, is they are difficult to put on. My son is pretty good at getting his own shoes on, and he cannot with these. I probably wouldn’t have bought them if I knew they were so hard to get on. But once they’re on, they are great.

I bought this for our recently turned 2 year old. We wanted a pair of shoes that would keep his feet cool in the hot Arizona sun but yet protect them from the elements. These definitely fulfill and even exceed our expectations. Plus, I love the colors. They literally go with just about any color of garment.

The rating that these fit true to size is bewildering. My son measures a 7.5 wide (toddler). After 6 pairs of sandals, we found ones that fit (Keen 9 and Littleplum 9). I have always held off on Keens because of how stiff their soles are (I love them and have tons but not for my son). Someone mentioned in a review that they found the sandals more flexible than other Keen soles. I disagree. My son found them uncomfortable, I think because they are stiffer than anything else hes ever worn. As others have mentioned, it would be nice if Keen could figure out sizing. The 8s I initially ordered are about the size of the Crocs size 6 he wore last year. His winter Keen boots were a size 10, so in hindsight I dont know why I paid attention to people who checked true to size and ordered an 8 (probably b/c this all started with the 8.5W Stride Rites I ordered that were enormous - probably legit true to size). These are the ones we landed on that are wide enough for him and he found comfortable. Less stiff sole and fabric than the Keens.
