I do wish they were a bit longer for my application, but they work as advertised. I used them every weekend to transport my tractor and they have not frayed or show other signs of wear. The square shape of the D ring (more of a triangle ring) was at first a little annoying, but I have found that this is probably the correct shape because it lets the chain hook securely attach. Heres a tip: my tractor has a backhoe on it so you really cant get around the back axle. Loop it around the ROPS where it meets the frame, then drive forward for a tight bind. Then use binders (boomers) for the front chains. Very secure!

Seems well made except for the stamped metal. It seems strong enough, but the edges are sharp and will eventually rub through the web strap if you were using this for an axle strap.

Needed some tie downs for my trailer, but just couldnt spend the $20 at local stores. Bought these at 1/3 of the cost. Quality product which helps make a safe and secure trailer load while protecting equipment.

Used to protect my boat trailer while pulling it into the garage with a wench. Boat/trailer weighs approximately 4K lbs and this strap took that weight without a problem. The d-rings are really good quality and the black protector is rather nice - definitely nice to protect whatever you are hooking up to.

I really like the way these are made and they seem to match with their description. So far after lifting four heavy loads with them, no sign of strain or wear on them.

Bought this to use with a WARN electric winch to haul up our swim dock in the fall. Strap and loops seem very sturdy and I like the fact that we arent putting gouges in the tree we use. Would be nice if the straps were just a little bit longer, but it works for the purpose intened.

if your looking at this product, it is fair to say that your probably in the towing industry... I am a repossession recovery agent and the one thing I hate putting on a car is safety chains. These things make it very easy because you just put it through the rim of the car and connect your chains. No more crawling under a car and breaking your back. They seem to be made with good quality and the bright color is great for working at night. I leave them hooked onto my dolly bar so I have quick easy access to them. Right out of the package they were not stiff or hard to manage. Almost like these straps were already broken in which was great because everyone hates dealing with stiff straps. I will certainly buy again when the time comes

I use this strap to hang my boxing heavy bag over an i-beam in the basement, and it does a great job. One thing I do, however, is put a towel between this and the i-beam so that the axle strap is not sitting directly on the i-beam. I do that because I worry if the micromotion of the bag rocking back and forth directly against the metal i-beam would eventually cut the axle-strap and cause the heavy bag to fall on the floor. I havent had that happen, yet, but I do it as a precaution and Id recommend others do that as well if using it for the purpose I just described. Otherwise, this axle strap does a great job. Its extremely strong and holds things like a champ.
