Kemys Canvas Duffle Bag Oversized Genuine Leather Weekend Bags for Men and Women

I bought this bag to replace my 28 5+ year old Cabalas duffel bag. On my old bag one of the shoe pockets was worn-out (it had two) and it was big, black and nylon. Not that attractive and a bit big for a gym bag. I was tempted to buy another but luckily for me it was discontinued and I found this bag instead. This bag is attractive and seems to be well built. I use it about 5 days a week when going to the gym before work. I believe it will give me several years of use. The shoe compartment will hold my shower sandals and my work shoes and still leave room for clothes. The size has forced me to pack better than my old bag, which isnt a bad thing. I recently took it on an overnight trip and it worked great for a carry on for the plane. (Something my old bag was too big for) I prefer a bag to some hard case wheeled carry-on. The zippers seem to be very sturdy. I like leather zipper tabs on all the zippers. I do wish that the side pockets had the dual zippers like the main compartment but that isnt a big deal since truthfully Id probably only use one zipper anyway. The zipper by the shoe compartment is odd to me and for my use unnecessary. It allows you access to the main compartment. I am guessing that someone that travels a lot may make use of it if they put something there that want to get to quick but I never use it. The side pocket on the other side of the bag from the shoe compartment is where I keep my necessities. Even though I keep most of those items in my necessities bag, I like that fact that those items are separate from my clothes. There doesnt seem to be a lot of choices for bags that have the shoe compartment in this size. I am tempted to buy a second as I fear that when that day comes that I need to retire this one that I may not be available find it again. I do not think youll be disappointed if you buy this bag. I have not been.

This is not just your everyday duffle bag. The quality of this bag is amazing. Its heavier than I expected hence the quality of the strong material. Fit all my weekend travel to Florida nicely with plenty of pockets inside and out. Tip: Dont pack too many shoes bc it will just eat up your clothing space as the two are not really seperate. The only separating the two is a thin liner.

So I want to start by saying I should deduct more than 1 star but I wont due to the overall quality of this bag. They should inform you what size shoes the slot will take up to as Im a size 12 and its way to small for my shoes. So I have 3 options: return it, modify the shoe area, or just dont use it at all which seems to defeat the purpose. I plan to attempty to modify it and hopefully it will turn out well.

I purchased this bag last year to use on an extended work trip. Since then, Ive traveled 6 more times and have used this bag every time. Pros: Design - The darn thing just looks cool. The real leather is great and compliments the canvas really well. Features - The shoe section is actually pretty useful. I use it every trip to store my less comfortable work shoes while I wear my more comfortable not work shoes. Keeps all the nasty floor/street dirt away from my clothes. Space - This bag can fit a weekends worth of clothes easily. Ive shoehorned a weeks worth of clothes in there on certain occasions as well. Handles - Theres a handle at the top and on the side so you can hold it vertically. Great for navigating tiny aisles in an airplane. Cons: Pockets - There are two pockets on the outside that have leather straps with buttons on the end. Occasionally, these pocket flaps will come open in the course of walking around the airport, storing it in the overhead compartment, etc. There was one time when I was forced to check the bag due to a lack of overhead space - both of the flaps came open during transit. Thankfully, I didnt put anything valuable in those pockets. Comfort - This may be a problem more unique to my usage and the overall form factor. However, I have found that walking around with this thing can be kind of annoying and uncomfortable after 30 minutes to an hour. That being said, the recommendation would just be to not use this bag to travel around a large city without a car. Otherwise, the thing has held up great and I havent had any quality issues with it. Its still my go-to bag for trips that last under a week.

I have used this for quick business trips vs. needing larger luggage. Absolutely perfect. The only thing I would say is I am not sure if it was supposed to come with a shoulder strap. If it did, then I didnt get it or I put it somewhere. I would recommend getting a bag like this with a shoulder strap, helps to take reduce passing it from hand to hand depending on what you are carrying.

So far this thing has been amazing, took it on a trip to vegas and it fit in the overhead bin with the bag packed to the brim, and now during this review Im using it as a weekend bag visiting family for the holidays, zippers and materials are top notch, overall its a great bag worth every penny

I wrote a review the other day on this bag, i forgot to say its a great bag, well made, it will last a long time, the only thing i didnt like was were the shoe pouch is, but it does leep your shoes separate,

Excellent product! Gave it as a Valentines gift to my fiancee who is always traveling for business and to visit me. He is delighted! He even uses it for the gym because it accommodates shoes separately from clothes. Perfect for his weekend escapades to visit. High quality materials.

You can stuff a lot of stuff in this bag, and transporting it by the shorter handle or the over-the shoulder option, or by slipping it over the extended handle of a rolling bag, make it more versatile. I used it as a carry on with bulky but light contents, and it might fit under an airplane seat if not filled with your wifes pillows. One quirk is the extra zipper to nowhere. I got the shoe-carrying option, and adjacent is a zipper (that goes into the main compartment) right next to the main compartment zipper. Escape route?
