This is a great travel bag. I have flown with it now to many places and it fits under your seat in the over head of all aircraft. quality made bag and good looking. It has many compartments which allows you to stay organized. The zippers and strap are very strong. Great Product. !!!

I bought this bag to replace my 28 5+ year old Cabalas duffel bag. On my old bag one of the shoe pockets was worn-out (it had two) and it was big, black and nylon. Not that attractive and a bit big for a gym bag. I was tempted to buy another but luckily for me it was discontinued and I found this bag instead. This bag is attractive and seems to be well built. I use it about 5 days a week when going to the gym before work. I believe it will give me several years of use. The shoe compartment will hold my shower sandals and my work shoes and still leave room for clothes. The size has forced me to pack better than my old bag, which isnt a bad thing. I recently took it on an overnight trip and it worked great for a carry on for the plane. (Something my old bag was too big for) I prefer a bag to some hard case wheeled carry-on. The zippers seem to be very sturdy. I like leather zipper tabs on all the zippers. I do wish that the side pockets had the dual zippers like the main compartment but that isnt a big deal since truthfully Id probably only use one zipper anyway. The zipper by the shoe compartment is odd to me and for my use unnecessary. It allows you access to the main compartment. I am guessing that someone that travels a lot may make use of it if they put something there that want to get to quick but I never use it. The side pocket on the other side of the bag from the shoe compartment is where I keep my necessities. Even though I keep most of those items in my necessities bag, I like that fact that those items are separate from my clothes. There doesnt seem to be a lot of choices for bags that have the shoe compartment in this size. I am tempted to buy a second as I fear that when that day comes that I need to retire this one that I may not be available find it again. I do not think youll be disappointed if you buy this bag. I have not been.

Let me start by saying overall this is a great bag, and I love it. It is spacious and I like that the side pockets dont take from the internal space. The product is also exactly as pictured. I have been able to pack a lot into this bag on several trips so far and it hasnt let me down. The only reason I have rated down is because after the first or second use, one of the snaps used to secure the handles together broke/separated and eventually came off. After maybe the 5th use a rip in the fabric formed on the side of the main zipper. There is no hole yet due to the fabric being double layered, and the rip appears like seam fraying only on one layer.

So I want to start by saying I should deduct more than 1 star but I wont due to the overall quality of this bag. They should inform you what size shoes the slot will take up to as Im a size 12 and its way to small for my shoes. So I have 3 options: return it, modify the shoe area, or just dont use it at all which seems to defeat the purpose. I plan to attempty to modify it and hopefully it will turn out well.

Bought this for my husband for our light travel. He loves it!! Its also the perfect size for a carry on on airplanes or an under the seat piece of luggage. The fabric is rugged and we love the beaten look to it. I would recommend this bag for guys who dont like to pull wheel luggage behind them, are light packers and just want something to grab and go!

This canvas duffle is as rugged and handsome as it looks. I pack 4 days clothing and other gear into this carryall. The heavy duty zippers and shoulder strap far exceeded expectations. It was asked to endure more than it should have from handlers. It came out unscathed! It looks great, handward shows no signs of fatigue or seam failure. I am recommending everyone in my family order one or two of these.

You can stuff a lot of stuff in this bag, and transporting it by the shorter handle or the over-the shoulder option, or by slipping it over the extended handle of a rolling bag, make it more versatile. I used it as a carry on with bulky but light contents, and it might fit under an airplane seat if not filled with your wifes pillows. One quirk is the extra zipper to nowhere. I got the shoe-carrying option, and adjacent is a zipper (that goes into the main compartment) right next to the main compartment zipper. Escape route?

I purchased this bag last year to use on an extended work trip. Since then, Ive traveled 6 more times and have used this bag every time. Pros: Design - The darn thing just looks cool. The real leather is great and compliments the canvas really well. Features - The shoe section is actually pretty useful. I use it every trip to store my less comfortable work shoes while I wear my more comfortable not work shoes. Keeps all the nasty floor/street dirt away from my clothes. Space - This bag can fit a weekends worth of clothes easily. Ive shoehorned a weeks worth of clothes in there on certain occasions as well. Handles - Theres a handle at the top and on the side so you can hold it vertically. Great for navigating tiny aisles in an airplane. Cons: Pockets - There are two pockets on the outside that have leather straps with buttons on the end. Occasionally, these pocket flaps will come open in the course of walking around the airport, storing it in the overhead compartment, etc. There was one time when I was forced to check the bag due to a lack of overhead space - both of the flaps came open during transit. Thankfully, I didnt put anything valuable in those pockets. Comfort - This may be a problem more unique to my usage and the overall form factor. However, I have found that walking around with this thing can be kind of annoying and uncomfortable after 30 minutes to an hour. That being said, the recommendation would just be to not use this bag to travel around a large city without a car. Otherwise, the thing has held up great and I havent had any quality issues with it. Its still my go-to bag for trips that last under a week.

Good looking bag but a little smaller than I had hoped. Cannot attest to the durability yet but seems decent quality.
