Greater than one week2021 update: I just returned from a vacation and discovered my comb was missing. I searched my old orders on Amazon to buy this comb again. My previous purchase was in 2014. The comb was still in perfect shape although the Kent letters in gold had worn away. Well worth buying again. When my old comb had to go, I decided to try this Kent comb even though it seemed rather pricey. I also bought the Goody Styling Comb Brown #45507 which looks very similar but is about seven dollars less. What a difference! When you handle the two combs side by side, it is clear the Kent comb is much, much better. The ends of the teeth are rounded and do not have that sharp feel on my scalp. I have been in the habit of sanding the tips of the teeth on new combs to make them more comfortable. I will need to sand the teeth on the Goody comb but the Kent comb is already round and comfortable. The teeth on the Kent comb are sturdier. The teeth on the Goody comb are more flexible and more flimsy. I really dislike the look of a comb when a tooth has broken and there is a gap in the teeth. I anticipate this comb will hold up much better than my previous combs. The best part is how nicely this combs my hair. It just glides through my hair. Very gratifying.

> 3 dayI was hesitant about spending the money on this comb. I have had the same cheap comb since college and I wanted a grown man’s comb. This was absolutely amazing. Very handsome, felt nice, has a great weight. Hopefully this also lasts many years!

> 3 dayThis is by far the best comb I have ever owned. There are no sharp edges to scrape your scalp or tear your hair. It is very well made with beautiful craftsmanship. I highly recommend this comb over regular combs you find on the shelves. It is a bit spendy, but well worth the money. You will probably never buy another comb.

17-11-2024This is by far the best Comb I have used. It is large, premium, and feels like a well-crafted product. It has been performing great since Ive received it. This Kent 16T is the best comb ever made. I had my last one for over 25 years, until a tooth finally snapped off a year ago. Took me a while to exactly match my broken one - but I was not going to buy any other brand. I tried to use many other combs from the poor choice in local shops - none can compare. You must know the annoying mantra they just dont make things like they used to. Well, yes, a few things are still made properly and last a long time. From my personal experience, this comb is good for dry, wet, long, short, young and old hair. This comb is made from cellulose acetate, which is a non-petroleum based plastic derived from plants. The teeth are smooth (hand polished and buffed) and feel good on my scalp with no scratching and no hair breakage. It is a larger comb, they call it a dressing table. My pocket comb also recently broke, so I decided to get myself a Kent. I was amazed at the difference a comb could make.

> 3 dayItd without question the nicest comb Ive ever owned. But its still a comb. My life after using the comb is much the same as it was before. But yeah, its a nice comb. If youre frustrated by the cheap stuff you buy at the grocery store, then this is well worth considering. Look, it isnt going to break the bank or cause you to refinance your house. I dont care much either way about the color, I care if it combs my hair. It does. It doesnt rake the skin off my scalp, break teeth, etc. Its a good comb.
