> 3 day2021 update: I just returned from a vacation and discovered my comb was missing. I searched my old orders on Amazon to buy this comb again. My previous purchase was in 2014. The comb was still in perfect shape although the Kent letters in gold had worn away. Well worth buying again. When my old comb had to go, I decided to try this Kent comb even though it seemed rather pricey. I also bought the Goody Styling Comb Brown #45507 which looks very similar but is about seven dollars less. What a difference! When you handle the two combs side by side, it is clear the Kent comb is much, much better. The ends of the teeth are rounded and do not have that sharp feel on my scalp. I have been in the habit of sanding the tips of the teeth on new combs to make them more comfortable. I will need to sand the teeth on the Goody comb but the Kent comb is already round and comfortable. The teeth on the Kent comb are sturdier. The teeth on the Goody comb are more flexible and more flimsy. I really dislike the look of a comb when a tooth has broken and there is a gap in the teeth. I anticipate this comb will hold up much better than my previous combs. The best part is how nicely this combs my hair. It just glides through my hair. Very gratifying.

> 3 dayI bought these for my sons as they were getting older and needed something a little bit nicer than the drugstore combs that are bent and missing teeth. They seem sturdy, well made, and attractive.

Greater than one weekIts just a comb, I thought, how much different could it possibly be from my other one? Oh how wrong I was. Kent, evidently a comb that shares a humans name, is not just your ordinary cheap-plastic-run-your-fingers-through-it-and-make-that-funny-noise kind of comb. Its solid. Handcrafted. It feels heavy and the comb teeth are sharp enough to actually poke and prod at your skull in potentially painful positions. As a relative newcomer to the world of combs, I was surprised a comb of this quality even existed. Throw away whatever cheap comb youre using right away, if it came in a set with some limp scissors and other assorted hair products, it will never live up to the majesty of Kent. Kent would never snag your hairs and make you hurt, Kent would never lose teeth, Kent can comb thick hair, thin hair, long hair, short hair, curly hair, frizzy hair and probably even your dogs hair if you wanted him to. Kent is what you need in your life.

> 3 dayThis comb is just long enough to hold in my hand and contain all my hair for styling at the same time. It feels sturdy and well constructed. Another 1 on the length would be ideal, however this is certainly the best of those I have tried.
