Its rosin core 60/40 solder. it melts, sticks to wires and goes solid again and there is enough here to cover my needs for the next decade or so. What more can you ask of solder.

If you are using leaded solder, this is the one to use. Ive preferred Kester for 40 years now. Always works great, wets well and makes clean shiny joints. Purchased this diameter for fixing wired units (diameter is a little large for circuit board work).
