Im Caucasian & have long fine hair. I comb this through the strands after washing, then rinse it out. It ends the fight of trying to untangle my hair once its been dried. Its also non-animal-tested, which figured heavily in my decision to purchase it. The drawback is that it has become ridiculously expensive. I may have to look for another cruelty-free product.

I swear my tangles run away as soon as they see this stuff coming. I have always suffered from the worst hair tangles, to the point where my hair almost looks like its forming dread locks after a couple of days. I can use this stuff and easily comb through with my fingers. I have baby fine, low porosity hair, so i get product buildup quickly and everything just sits on my hair, making it look greasy and oily. This product not only detangles, but it doesnt have any oils in it, so it keeps things light and simple. If you want more conditioning with oils, then you can use this product to detangle and then use a regular conditioner or deep cinditioner after. But the detangling power CANNOT BE BEAT!!

After washing my hair, even with a leave-in conditioner, my hair takes so much time to detangle. But with a palm full of KINKY CURLY KNOT TODAY spread through my hair, my comb goes right through my natural hair and leaves it just a little curly. If my hair is dry as a bone and I add a palm full of KINKY CURLY and then wet my hands and run them all over my shoulder length hair, the comb glides right through. Someone with shorter hair, might use a lot less and get the same result. In between washings, I oil my scalp with different oils. I only use KINKY CURLY topically. Its the fastest way to comb wet or dry hair, and it leaves a curl.

Absolutely love this product! I have very curly hair and follow the curly girl method. This product is great for detangling and rinsing as well as a leave in! A little bit of product goes a long way. The scent is bit overpowering and love that it doesn’t include any drying alcohols.

This has saved my little girls hair! I use this every time I wash her hair to work out the tangles. I am noticing far less tangles. I have even started using it on my own hair and it leaves it soft and shiny. The scent is pleasant and light. For reference our hair is blond 2c/3a-b wavy/curly.

After trying many different products for curly hair, this is my go-to, curly girl approved leave-in conditioner. I apply it in the shower and wrap my hair to let it absorb. My hair is soft and I love that it washes out easily. Great product with minimal ingredients.

This is my favorite conditioner. I’ve been using it for over ten years. It makes my hair silky, keeps it from tangling, and nourishes my curls. I often get compliments for how healthy and shiny my hair looks. After washing I massage this conditioner through my hair and leave it in while I wash the rest of my body. Then I rinse it with cool water, this helps lock the moister in and prevent frizz. After rinsing I actually reapply a small amount through my hair and leave it in ( it doesn’t make it look greasy if you don’t use too much). I use this with the kinky curly shampoo for a gentle clean ( I use a regular shampoo if I need a deeper clean) and the kinky curly curling custard to define curls. I also use a mouse to add volume.

After much research, I purchased this product to hopefully help me brush out my tender-headed daughters hair after baths. It did not disappoint. Weve tried many and this one is first to actually work. The brush glides through her curly wet hair without a snag. We will definitely stay stocked up with this miracle conditioner!
